Treasurer
--Bogotá, Colombia--
The Treasurer will be responsible for managing the company’s treasury function, ensuring proper handling of cash flow, banking operations, and both domestic and international payments. This role is key to guaranteeing the company’s liquidity and supporting an international logistics operation, primarily in the United States and Latin America.
This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia. Work model (hybrid or on-site) will be defined based on operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control the company’s cash flow
- Oversee domestic and international bank accounts
- Perform international payments and transfers in multiple currencies
- Prepare daily and weekly treasury, cash flow, and bank position reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and support monthly closings
- Participate in audit and internal control processes
- Support the General Accountant in financial closings and liquidity reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury and financial control policies
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
- 4 to 6 years of experience in treasury roles
- Experience managing international treasury and multi-currency payments
- Experience in multinational companies or those with international operations
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with accounting systems or ERPs (ideally CargoWise or similar)
Nice to have
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding companies
